Spay and Neuter Incentive Project
Provided by the Navajo Nation Department of Resource Enforcement
The Department of Resource Enforcement requests the assistance of Navajo pet owners to help in addressing the overpopulation of dogs and cats across the Navajo Nation. As an incentive for getting your pet(s) spayed/neutered within the project period, pet owners will receive a one-time cash incentive!

To be eligible for the incentive, spay/neuter must have been conducted between OCT 01, 2024 – SEPT 30, 2025
Follow these steps to get your cash incentive

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR YOUR PET TO GET FIXED
Make an appointment at any spay/neuter clinic and get your pet(s) spayed/neutered! CLICK HERE to see upcoming clinics near you!
SHOW UP FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT
Be sure to set a reminder for the day of surgery. You will drop off your pet at the required location, and pick up your pet after surgery (a few hours later).

GATHER DOCUMENTS AFTER SURGERY COMPLETED
You will need these documents to receive your cash reward:

Updated W-9

Social Security Card
-
Navajo Nation CIB
-
Driver’s License or Identification Card
-
Certificate of spay/neuter within project dates: Oct 1 2024 – Sept 30 2025
